So...

So, readers.
This is a new blog! It has all the same posts(excluding one) as the other blog, but it is new. :) So, let me know. Do you like the background? The header? Is there something that doesn't look right? Something I should change?
Express your true feelings. :P

Let Us See...

Well, I've decided I'm going to try to post AT LEAST twice a week--or once.
The post is titled "Let Us See..." for the main purpose of the fact that we are going to try to figure out if my life is interesting enough to post that often about. Let us start with a poem. It is about Sherwood Forest, and I have written it for School.

"Shady glades,
Half-lit caves,
Errant leaves,
Redwood bees,
Wandering trees,
Opulent leas,
Old wheeze,

Dear seas."

It's a horrid poem, I know. It's an acrostic poem. See how the first letters of each sentence, put together, spell Sherwood? :) So... What to say next?
How about an update on my NaNoWriMo?

Word Count: 30, 304
Day: November 19th
Goal for Today: 31, 700
My Status: Not yet to goal
The Time: 10:21 PM
My Thoughts on Whether I'll get the goal for today or not: Probably not. I have to go to bed in thirty minutes.

And that's all for today.

Farewell, readers,

Not much to say....

The title says it all. Life has been life, but I feel like I should tell you some of the life that is life.
What have I been doing lately?
Well, I think that I, awhile back, mentioned NaNoWriMo. I've been banging on a keyboard while listening to Owl City and soundtrack on full blast. My novel is going quite well.
Or, I think it is. :)
I've also been doing school. Lovely, lovely(horrible, horrible) school. :D Though.... I am doing Cover Story, the writing curriculum I requested for myself to do.
What else, what else....
I've been, uh.... Well, uh.... Hm..... I guess another thing that I've been doing comes next?
Well, I've been chatting with Undergrounders, but that isn't new.
I've been talking with the Moira Is Way Too Emotionally Attached to Books Helpline. It's quite an interesting helpline.
I've been telling my Grandmother what I want for Christmas.
Annnnnnnnnd... Well... Hm... Here we go again.... Give me a moment....

I guess that was a moment, eh? A rather long one. So...
Since there really isn't much to comment about, I dare you to comment and tell me your favorite food, color, and animal.
Okay, that was terrible. But I need to post about something, don't I?

Messily,

P.S. And if you do comment, also tell me the place you've always wanted to go to, and what language you would like to learn. :)

Goddess Tithe by Anne Elisabeth Stengl; A Review

She will always claim her tithe. Such is the law of the Sea.”

Once again, Anne Elisabeth Stengl's has created a masterpiece. It may be held accountable for a sleepless night or two, whilst I was reading it. Goddess Tithe was superb.

Cons:

As good as it was, I felt that Goddess Tithe wasn't as well-written as the rest of the Tales of Goldstone Wood.

Since the main character was younger, Goddess Tithe felt directed more toward younger audiences than the rest of the books.

I believe, since Anne Elisabeth was used to writing older characters, Munny acted a bit too old for his age.

Prose:

The relationship between Munny and Leonard was great.

Anne Elisabeth's characters were all well-formed, though I felt like she could have done more with Tu Pich.

The illustrations were brilliant.

Thank you for another masterpiece, Lady Anne!

Goddess Tithe tells the tale of Leonard the Jester's journey to Lunthea Maly, through the view of Munny, a boy on the ship Leonard travels with. But when Captain Sunan announces that they won't give Leonard as tithe to the Goddess Risafeth, the crew is shocked, for Risafeth always claims her tithe, whether those who owe it to her give in willingly or not. Munny and Leonard become an unlikely pair, and neither can understand the other.
She will always claim her tithe.

Can they survive her wrath, and all make it to Lunthea Maly alive? Find out in Goddess Tithe!
